Support Our Mission: Give a Gift Today!
“We are made wise not by the recollection of our past,
but by the responsibility for our future.” — George Bernard Shaw
Supporters of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine understand George Bernard Shaw’s quote more fully than most. They understand that the foundation for our future is rooted in our past and that to secure our best future by simply preserving that past as artifacts on exhibit is only the beginning. With the generous support of members and donors, the Museum is able to bring into clearer focus the implications of these stories and the far reaching legacy of lifesaving medical, managerial and humanitarian innovations that remain relevant and vital for our world today.

Bucks for Barton
$5,000 in 30 days
Help us raise $5,000 for Clara Barton’s Missing Soldiers from May 13th to June 12th. Clara Barton’s Missing Soldiers Office was one of twenty four historic sites in the Washington D.C. Metro area selected to participate in the Partners in Preservation Grant Campaign that ran from April 24th to May 10th. CBMSO received a $5,000 grant to help get us up and running!
Our goal is to match that $5000 from supporters like you. All donations received from the matching grant will go towards the completion of the first floor visitor center.
